Getting started
Browse breeds: tap any pup in the gallery to see photos, facts,
temperament and more. Search by name, or sort by name or popularity.
Scan a dog: tap the camera button, then take a photo or choose one
from your library. The app guesses the breed right on your device.
Find your perfect pooch: answer three quick questions (size, energy,
and how the dog is with new people) to discover breeds that suit you.
Camera & photo permissions
The first time you scan, iOS asks permission to use the camera or your photo library. If you
tapped "Don't Allow" and want to change it, open the device Settings → Pawpedia AI
and turn on Camera and/or Photos. Your photos are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
The kids' game
Switch Game mode on from the Game button to unlock the sticker album,
finding challenges and the "Guess the Pup" quiz.
Answering a quiz question correctly marks a breed as spotted; scanning a real dog
catches it and lights up its sticker in full colour.
Grown‑up mode is the plain reference app, with none of the game features.
