Who we are

Pawpedia AI ("the app") is an iOS dog‑breed reference and learning app made for children and families. It is developed and published by Ryan Edwards ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information — the short answer is that it doesn't collect any.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email, or location. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or third‑party tracking software.

Camera and photos

The app's "Identify" feature lets you take a photo of a dog, or choose one from your photo library, so the app can guess its breed. This works in two ways, both private:

• Breed recognition happens entirely on your device using a built‑in machine‑learning model. Your photos are never uploaded, sent to a server, or seen by us.
• Photos are not stored by the app. If you choose to save a photo you snapped, it is saved to your Photos library and stays under your control.

iOS will ask your permission before the app can use the camera or your photo library. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in the device's Settings.

Information stored on your device

Things you do in the app — your favourite breeds, the breeds you've "found" or "spotted", and your game progress and settings — are saved only on your device (using Apple's on‑device storage). This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it.

Children's privacy

Pawpedia AI is designed to be safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There are no in‑app messaging features, no social features, and no links that lead outside the app. We believe this approach is consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

No network connections

All breed information, photos, and features are bundled inside the app. It does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests during normal use.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Because the app collects no data, we expect changes to be rare.
